Looking for a new 2ft standard tank, similar to mine. I've thought of getting a new tank and then transferring everything into it. But most of the LFS don't have this kind of tank for sale anymore. Anyone knows where to get it? Preferably in the East as I don't have transport. :cry2:

Bro, i believe any LFS should have the standard 2ft acrylic tank la... U can try those fresh water aquarium shop and should cost only $20+ bucks..

Main Tank: 5 x 1 x 1

Return from overflow: Eheim compact+ 5000

Lighting: 2x 54W T5

Skimmer: Deltec SC 1350

Chiller: Arctica 1/10

Wave Maker: Tunze Nano Wavebox & Tunze 6055 with Photocell
Monitor 1: American Marine Pinpoint pH monitor
Monitor 2: American Marine Pinpoint Temperature monitor

Latest update!!!

For those who thought I'd given up, you won't be disappointed!

I spent the whole afternoon yesterday going around a few LFS in Tampines and even to Pasir Ris farm to recee for the particular tank. My search was in vain. Apparently not many LFS sell this type of tanks anymore. Only seen the round edge ones.

I finally had a breakthrough when I went to Bedok 85 to try my luck. The other LFS next to 'the noisy shop' had 2 of these tanks, still wrapped in plastic! I was so thrilled that I just had to get it right there. You guys wouldn't believe if I told you I managed to bring the tank back safely with just my motorbike!!! :eyebrow: :eyebrow: :eyebrow:

Changes to the design! Inverted the partition so the hole is now at the lower part for the seio. This is because with the lowered overflow height, the seio will suck in water too fast from the surface if its placed at the top.

Some minor updates.

Uno stacko again. <_<

Note the acrylic partition is already siliconed, look how clean the joints are. Looks like I'm getting better after so many attempts. Heh.

Decided to silicon the overflow 'comb' this way instead of upside down.

Hi bro, sorry to say but imo, this way may create more restriction. My engineering knowledge tell me, your previous overflow comb setup is better than this one. I dunno what others say. Just a piece of suggestion. See what other suggest and u see if you want to change or not.

Its still in the testing stages. Yes, I agree it has more restriction this way, the 'comb' is loosely attached and can be plugged out easily. Tomorrow I will begin the filling up of the tank. Really tired after working more than 14hrs straight. :whistle
