Hi Bros and Sis,

I am a novice reefer who have benefitted lots from this forum, in return I would like to share a bit on my humble mini-reef.

Age of Tank - commissioned Dec 2007

Tank Maker - AM

Specs - 4x2x2.5 ft

Mixed reef, LPS, some SPS and softies, hope to move towards a full SPS tank one day

Below are some pictures showing how my humble reef has growth through the months (and how my wallet has shrinked during the same period!)

Here are some of my corals, its quite a big diversity actually more LPS and softies with a few SPS. Hope to gain more experience and proceed to keep SPS in a Zeovit low nutrients environment one day. I have a few clams and a fire shrimp in my refugium as well.

Also have a RBTA but my clowns are not hosting it.

More corals - including one of my favorite supersun garden  . Truely magnificent but definitely need lots of dedication and commitment to target feeding - the other downside being the high nutrient load. Hence I have invested in a reasonably good skimmer.

nice skimmer. how's the performance?

Bro dfstan, this is an amazing skimmer, have to see it in action to believe how tiny the bubbles it is capable of generating - truely the king of bubbles. Very silent as well.

AAA build quality. My best investment so far.

looks like puka shells..

bro ampiron; did u see mystery chasing it?

Bro ReDDevil,

Actually no as the FW been in hiding since first day, I thought maybe mystery has been bullying it hence it didn't dare to swim out in the open. Some articles on Reefcentral suggest that FW may hide for weeks in a new environment but I am getting very worried. Haiz one of those sad things about reefing..........
