Fish gone missing

i introduce this fella into my tank on monday till now did not see it.is it dead liao?or izzit it's too shy to come out?

they will hide when they are stress. Monitor for another few days.

Wrasse that dun hide under sand?? Hmm, tats strange... From my humble experience, they shd be out in a couple of days... Keep a lookout during lights on, they will definitely come out for food.

2 behaviours from wrasse...one is they burrow themselves in the sand....green, yellow, leopard, etc behave this way...the other is they will curb around and stay at the bed....for my fairy wrasses...they rest in crevices....you will be surprised how they hide in the crevices......they even "dig" a hole on the base of a rock and rest there.....they should not be that timid as compared to leopard and yellow.......all the best for your solar wrasse. : )

Your solar wrasse confirmed hide in one of your LR and not in the sand. It will sure come out in a day or two, but will hide very long if there are other resident wrasses that kept harassing/chasing it.
