hi which n where to get seaweed for my tangs.... must get them on veg diet... getting fat

Usually people will have red bamboo rock.Costs about 5 bucks per rock.Try asking those LFS that frequently brought in like Harlequin etc.

Or try AM if you want those seaweed like we eat but for fishes.Like sea veggies.They have plenty of those there.

i use dried seaweed, those unsalted japanese kind for human consumption ones.. they work just fine.. :)

As an alternative, you can also use dried seaweed for yong tau foo.

You should be able to find those japanese seaweed(for making sushi) at supermarkets, i got mine from Cold Storage at Taka but you would have to read the ingredients carefully before purchase. Some of the japanese seaweed have seasoning and those should not be used for feeding fish, get those that contain no seasoning.

The normal dry seaweed for the chinese dishes can be get from the market or grocery store cheaply.
