LR stink ... help

Ok i have a tub of live rocks, that became smelly this morning ... what happen & what can be done ... pls advise ...

(total 3 1/2tub all with circulation on, only one happen .. why?)

It's normal buddy.. takes a while for the smell to go..

its normal. alot of ammonia spike due to die off of bacteria. its normal. just leave it bubble awhile more, scrub the LR if possible. get a cheapo rubber gloves to do all this. save u hands cut n "sayang" complain

your hands too rough, like S&M each time u touch her.

DA, dun worry, throw away liao ... anyway got almost 80kg to play wif, onli 4nos. base rock(8kg) gone stink ..

no!! it can still be used.

u just have to have a current "hitting" at the black spot of the rock. within a few days, the rock will be back to normal..

if stink sure throw down chute or outdoor bin or something..

Put in a skimmer, you will see lots of gunk coming out....Have lots of current will prevent whitish stuff forming on rocks and add in filter Eg:Canister filter or OHF also can. I'm speaking from personal experience.It worked well.
