yeah.....thats why must be careful when stocking and knowing what to add in your reef set up.....

Actually scared to add clams now because of my 2 cleaner shrimps....I know the moment I add the clams they will have a feast day..... <_<

True...true.

However, I notice that the angels only eat the coral when the corals are not opening up. I have a hammer that was surviving fine until my itchy hand decides to rescape my tank and for a few days keeps moving the hammer here and there.

The hammer did not only for fully for 1 - 2 days and I notice the angel starting to nip on it.

For the clam, it is a different story all together. The moment it was in the tank, my Golden start nipping at it.

yeah they persumed that it's dead and want to get whats left in the skeleton but have seen them disturbing fully opened LPS and triggering the coral to forever shut tight to not open again.

Dwarfs are noctorious for this behaviour so thats why I avoid getting them although they're one of my favorites too.... :(

Hammers get stressed out when moved too much....moved my hammer down and it refused to open for several days now it's back up close to the light and waving at me..... :D

Hmmm... Still dun wan to take the risk.. Saw a lot of small one at ML... Lolz...

actually Regal a bit difficult to start feeding and when there is a bully in your tank (another angel) will take longer time to eat everything..... :(

So best is when you don't have any angel and want to add one.....put the Regal in first..... :D

Talk about feeding...I am worried about my Dusky and Orange Shoulder. They seem to be interested in anything I drop in. Sea Lettuce, nori, brine shrimp or pellet.

I saw them eating the diatom on my glass but I am worry that once I cleared the diatom bloom, they will have nothing to eat.

Dont know how to entice them to eat leh. :(

orange shoulder shouldn't have a problem though but the dusky is a bit picky....they refuse to touch live brine shrimp as well? If you have any other greedy fish inside the same tank should help. Give them a few more days because mine did the same thing but finally excepted pellet food.

Ok. Will use magnifying glass to choose tiny one. :P

Btw, I was at Aqua Star on Friday night. Saw 1 or 2 orange shoulders.

Saw 2 very nice tangs and was told by the owner that they are Powder Brown and so I dont dare to take.

When home and found that the tangs are white cheek. Very nice, personally I feel that they are comparable to Achille except for the teardrop.
