You know those dried seaweed used to boil soap??? They are black in color (actually very dark purple). Can buy from NTUC called "zhi cai"

very expensive though. my mum bought it by accident instead of zhi zhai.

u can also try those neighbourhood chinese grocery shop or medicinal halls, ask for seaweed for boiling soup, unseasoned one...they will get you wat you want

black spots is also another type of disease if I'm not wrong. one of my moorish idols used to suffer from it. poor bugger got white spots, then black spots and pop eye. but now he's recovering with no spots except for one small streak. (=
