Thanks for the info bro..but just wondering...how many of these do we need to grow to make it effective?...

Quite a lot. In the wild, they do have tunnels in mud which helps to reduce salinity. However, in the tank, more energy is being used to remove salt from the water, hence, they are less effective in growing.

Usually take around 2-5 stalks in a small tank before seeing any effect

Try Red Mangrove (Rhizophora mangle).. will not remove salt from water also doesn't depend much salt from sea water......... In fact, you can keep them in fresh water.. Cheers
