due to the fact dat i got granduncles in pulau ubin, one have a prawn pond, i have access to what they call gao zat hei, meaning "9 parts prawn" or something like dat, big sized ones, bigger than crayfish. was thinking of keeping 1 or 2 in my sump, so CNY come can cook up dishes haha. 1 prawn can cook 1 plate of xia ren, believe it or not. what are ur opinions?

dont think u will cook them up as u yourself add chemical into the tank

haha dats not an issue what.. the most i add is kalkwasser ma.

They do better at lower temperatures, around 24C in the tank. Keeps their metabolism down.

Don't really know what species is that,but I kept some edible prawns before and found that most market prawn will survive if you have a fine layer of sand where they can scavenge and good filtration.
