Most dc led can be driven direct from the dc power source.

But it is not advisable as it will shorten the life of your led when the

current surge

Except for the different in color and a slight different in light intensity

The led lited portion which is on the left of the tank from the red monti leftward

look as bright as the T5HO lited portion which is on the right side of the tank from

the red monti towards the right side of the tank

what is the diff between par and lumen.

I do not think so. This is only 2*5w led.

Lumens are close to a true measurement of output power and PAR is an estimate of available power for photosynthesis

Anybody saw any constant current 1000mA led Driver with 230VAC input in simlim?

I'm looking for higher power >30W, 1000mA versions .. need to do some upgrading.

I do not think Sim Lim have. Someone is selling this constant current drive in Singapore.

Did you use a constant current driver to run luxeon Vs? Not advisable to run direct from DC

source.Any surge and the LED gone.

Transformer output is not DC.
