Beside the main tank aquarium lite are there other areas in our home

where electrical bill can be save?

Even in our aquarium beside our main tank lite our sump is also consuming

a lot of electrical energy.

Or denitrator,our phosphate reactor and our sump lite all are consuming electrical

energy to help our tank reduce NO3 and PO4.

Can we reduce NO3 and PO4 and light up the sump with less energy?

Yes the latest phosban and FR uses light.

But why you want to spend money on filter wool,denitrator,FR for phos and carbon and

lastly a skimmer when a led algae scrubber can do all the above job?

But if u are using scrubber, u will need a big scrubber to keep your tank in the same condition as to use the equip.

u can always use a few sheets more than usual.. wont take up much space if u do it the original method (with it standing vertically)

Scrubber size is base on your water volume.

So maybe smaller than most of the above equipments

Algae do not have unpleasant smell.Skimate are not algae.

The direct AC constant current I just receive from supplier.

Will be testing it over the next few days and feedback result.

This unit claim can run 7- 8 3 watt high power LED in series.

Watch out for the test result

My sump= 5.7 US Gal

Total capacity = 125 US Gal(14x5.5x16)

Recomendation for the algae scrubber screen is 1 square inch per gal of tank water

Hence we require 125 square inch of screen for the algae scrubber to work efficiently

The sump is 14 inch. We can have a 12 inch wide screen and length of 10.5 inch

or we can had a 5 inch wide screen with 25 inch length

Will check around. So far I never use 1000 mA. I find the heat dissipation is

not easy.
