At last see your LED fixture.

But whu put so far away from the water.

Try to go nearer

i try let the coral use to the light intensity before lower the fixture.

previously running on 2 24W ATI T5 only.

From those ppl tested at nano-reef, running white at 1000ma at 12inch depth the PAR is equivalent to 250w MH.

Previous Tank 3 x 2.5 x 2 ft since year 2005. 23 Jan 2009 fully decom my 3ft. Now only left 24"x14"x16" and I am very happy cos can see all my fish in near range.. haha

Bro you running at 1A make sure you have very good heat dissipation or the LED life will be graetly reduce.

We will installed this modified hood back to 24 G nano cube tomorrow

Below is the lux reading before the modification to LED.That is 72 watt of PLC light

Left Top Rear 250 lux

i am using a heatsink plus fan should have no problem with heat dissipation.

Where do you get the heatsink from :whistle ?

IMHO, I think 4 P1s are too bright for nite light liao, 2 is more than enough :rolleyes: .

My octopus(frogspwan) did not melt under the LED:). Instead it has shown good expansion similar to exposure to sunlight from the windows in addition to the PC lights. Definitely very promising.

My chiller kick frequency has been greatly reduced too. T

For the standard version?

I have finalise the LED on PCB with constant current driver yesterday.

Will receive the first proto type by end of March tentatively.

If the testing is ok by mid aPRIL or end April you will see this LED on PCB.
