Red light is of very little use for most coral.

Unless you are keeping corals collected near the surface of the sea.

Violet and ultraviolet is the portion of light that really penetrate deep into the sea.

They do contribute to the photosynthesis of most coral but not as much as the blue,deep blue and royal blue.

But they contribute much to the highlighting of most coral flourescent.

Triton Lani really trigger me.

Its a form of led cluster that remove the disco affect that many led pendent have

and at the same time it give the the even spread of light that many led pendent

fail to meet

It run at the optimum of luminous efficiency that most high end led emitter are design

Most standard 3W diodes are most efficient when running at ~1W. That is the lumens per watt is the highest. The thermal load is also considerably lower at this power range.

Lani believe in spread (in fact most Euoropean Brand )whilst Ecotech or Ai (In fact most American Brand)believe in intensity

The module is design with 3 different channels. Each channel is one color of led. But the connector allow you to connect all led as one single circuit or 3 different circuits(For DIYer)

The board is design to accept both SSC and Cree led . So I can change the LED later if I find SSC does not meet my requirement
