This may come abit too late, but if your live rock is still around. just need to kill it(i.e soak in fresh water or under sun for few days). Cos your rock looks too good to be thrown away. :pinch:

You do not need to use all live rock for your new set up.

During setup(2yrs back), 90% of my tank rock are dead rock(cheaper mah) and 10% from my old set up and now all rocks are covered in coralline

unfortunately, i already threw those infested rocks away. don't want to take any risk and nuke them by throwing away. wasted but better to feel sorry later.

already got some rocks for new setup. scaping will be quite challenging, as always.

Bro,

How's the new tank coming along?? Are u still using the foam box to house your corals? U want to borrow my spare tank? :)

hey sis, just about to pm u to pay you a visit! heehee... main tank is done but cannot do anything becoz sump got to re-do due to itchy backside getting new toys that old sump cannot fit into. haiz, long story lah.

thanks for the offer on the holding tank but the styrofoam box is still managing for now. sump tank might be coming next monday, so not too long away.

moment of truth... i.e. water leakage test! for both main and sump tank. main tank was delivered much earlier but didn;t have the chance to test water leak... so far so good...

ur method of holding up the refugium tank on ur sump looks pretty insecure. i m not sure if the thin glass can actually hold the refugium tank for a long period of time without giving way.....

there is a possibility of such. finger cross that never happen. there's a bracing across the sump as a support to the refugium as well.
