Ick Solution

Hi Member,

Recently i jus brought a powder bluw tang and initially he was ok...but recently he start to develop ick around his body.

I got to know from a LFS that is better to feed them food soak with garlic.

Now my question is that if i buy those chop garlic and soak them in

the water for a few days.....would it be same as those selling in the shelf?

I dunno is this correct but it help... i first smash the garlic... Put those smashed garlic on to a sieve and put the sieve in to a cup of water and soak it there... hope you understand very difficult to explain...

There are many other threads here that discuss abt using the garlic soaked food to cure ich. I personally have no success in curing ich just by feed garlic soak food even when the fish are still feeding.

Now still trying to cure my clown by using a hosiptal tank with seachem cuppermine (something like tat).

Guy's....Thanks for your reply but if i want to catch my blue powder tang in 5" FT tank i think i can whole night no need to sleep

I have a blue tang too. Always get popeye and ich.

I have been feeding it with brine shrimp soaked in garlic and I dont see any popeye or ich now.

Dont have to squeeze the garlic, just thaw the brine shrimp on top of the crushed garlic.
