For new setup and big tank like yours, l would personally recommend NSW. Hassle free, cheaper and almost instant clear water. No need hige amount of DI water to mix with sea salt. The supplier just pump the NSW straight into your tank. But for subsequent water changes, salt sea will be good.

I am in the preference of Sea water. The late time when i used salt mixed, it is very messy. ( from toilet to the hall for 2 X). Any lobang for sea water to be delivery to my house + cost

How about the set up..............

sea water to tank then add sand and live rock??????

l always call Victor of Irwana (SRC's Sponsor). His handphone is 9225 9393. Very friendly and helpful. They deliver on weekends too. NSW pumped straight into your tank. Cost wise i think depends on location and tank size. For big tanks shd be about two blue notes.

Sequence wise, not too sure what's the best way, l would say, probably add sand and liverock first then sea water? Easier to scape without the water i guess...

Just had my 6x2x2filled by Victor of Iwarna.

Did my scaping 1 hour before the appointed NSW delivery time.

I must say that scaping dry is really easy. Only took me 15 mins for the 6 footer.. :eyebrow:

BTW I'm a HDB dweller. 10th floor, lift landing on 11th.

Victor & his 2 guys took only 40 mins to transport all the water and pump it into the tank.

I even got a full bottle of "Top Up" from Victor. :eyebrow:

Top class customer service.
