Ophiel
Anyone here keeping these cute little dude care to share some with a noob? I got two the other day, each selecting a burrow on either side of the tank. However, I noticed that they're shy and rarely come out of their burrows if ever. Kind of worried that they're not eating. Any advice? Do I need a deep sand bed? Do I need peppermint shrimp? What about their behaviour - are they nocturnal or diurnal and will they find food on their own? Appreciate any help you can give. These two are the cutest fish in my tank and really hoping they'll do well (i.e. live).

SRC Member big_ben102000 Posted September 21, 2008 SRC Member Share Posted September 21, 2008 if you have aggressive tank mates then you wont see them that often. mine disappeared for 1 week when i got it but reappear after that. they will come out when you are feeding cheers
