SRC Member DottyClown Posted April 18, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted April 18, 2014 They are harmless, but their mucous net are irritating. If they start to multiply, then it will get unsightly. I got rid of mine.
Saeight Abdul Rahman
Well, if you are not sure of it, just remove it. Thats what i practice.
blesson87
Its some sort of worm. I remember having one in my tank. It spreads out a mucus net and traps detritus n food particles to eat. And the more it grows the bigger that tube becomes. Harmless imho but can remove if looks ugly. I removed and placed in sump after my christmas island hermit attacked n cut the tube in half lol Quote Previous setup: 45gal, 150watt MH lighting 16k, DSB refugium/sump (15gal), canister filter for various media, assorted pumps etc Livestock: 1 pair true percula clowns 1 bicolor blenny 4 blue green chromis 2 cleaner shrimp 1 blue zebra reef safe hermit crab Innumerable sabelastarte tube worms Assorted miscellaneous critters Corals: 1 plate brown montipora 1 bushy blue acropora 1 brown millepora 1 closed brain coral 1 pink goniopora Blue palethoas Green zoanthids

SRC Member iskay Posted May 11, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted May 11, 2014 It is a SNAIL. Not a worm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote "Be formless... shapeless, like water.
