2ft height(or less) is my preference, cos I'd like to be able to place the corals without having to use tongs. Unless u have very long arms, then 2.5ft height.

Guess it also depends on what u intend to keep, fish only, or corals.

Me prefer 4x2.5x2. i prefer to have width whereby can place more gems at sand bed. :eyebrow: 2ft for heights as would be gd too ifchange from MH to T5.

depends on what u planning to keep. for me, i will prefer 2.5ht. i prefer tank to be high as i like to c my fishes swim up n down.....i have a 6" tang inside my tank n 2.5ht is juz nice for him. if 2" then it will make the tank look shallow...of cos if possible, go for 4*2.5*2.5. can play with depth n height.

Kum sia very much bros! Ok I've decided to take the advice of most bros, 2.5ft width, reason being.....

1. I don't have long arms............ <_<

2. My back not very good......... :(

3. Heard people say tank cannot be taller then you..........hehe dunno true or not but just follow la.........

4. Going to keep corals n fishes, cannot afford MH and the high electricity bill, using only T5.

Thank u once again for ur valuable advice bros!

Glad that you have confirmed.

Just set up my tank which is 2.5 ft ht - great to view but tough putting in all the live rock.

Moreover; u will need MH lighting.

All the best!
