OK had to keep it short, otherwise it will never end. haha...

I am using Bailing Method:

1) I had dkh problem. It drop from 8 or 9 to 6 dkh within a day. So i have about dose alkaline DAILY (180ml) for my 180 litres aquarium.

2) Magnesium (180ml) and calcium (240ml) every three day.

The result is dkh very stable. Only problem is always overdose of the calcium ( abt 500ppm). As for magnisium (abt 1500ppm). I am usinng salifet tester every 1 month. The livestocks and the coral seems doing well with this overdosing method which I been in this hoobby for 4 years ++.

As for the strongtium, iodine, amino acids, i dose them only if i can remember. But the crucial part of success will be the 3 main player of the reef- Calcium, magnesium, and dkh.

Ya i know but i suppose it might help to reduce NO3. I do keep water change weekly abt 15%. :rolleyes:

Yes very lousy skimmer weipro haha... but sometimes lousy skimmer also work..haha. The rest of the equitment is just normal, 1 return, 1 chiller return, and 1 hydro K3.

well it's not in the equipments that work wonders. Alot goes into discipline, understanding, knowledge and patience!

Especially when your tank is barebottomed.
