2 barlet anthias

1 blue eye

1 yellow tang

1 white tiger goby

1 miniture hawk

2 sixline wrasse

1 normal green wrasse

1 true perculiar clown

Nice corals.

Just curious, when use 24W T5 lightings, does it produce a lot of heat? I'm currently using 2 T5 LO for my 2ft nano and already feel the heat when i switched on.

The heat is alright compare to MH. But for the use of T5 HO is better of course as long as u have chiller.

Understand T5 is sufficient but it also depends on the quantity, placement of SPS within yr tank and type of sps. Just imagine a 10 x T5 can easily match a 250W MH vs a 2 X T5. Think ppl shifting away from MH due to heat load and chiller requirement. T5 should rightfull emit less heat than MH. This is my limited opinion. May need correction from snr reefers.

T5 is sufficient for monti? how about SPS? always thought MH is required for monti, at least. maybe put my MH purchase on hold.

Green monti- No problem at all, done that and sold it off cause getting tooooo BIG. I place it at mid tank.

Purple Monti - See for urself in the picture, grow rate ok la slower than mh. I place it higher than the green monti.

SPS - I place my RED milie (Aquaculture) on the top and grow rate is OK also, color is superb, But i sold it off as well cause needed bigger room for the purple monti to grow haha

still believe MH is necessary to thrive these buggers! i.e. monti and sps. LPS-> T5 is okay. however, shooting myself at my own foot, i've seen some kept full SPS tank based on T5. can't remember his nick but relatively old bird here.

T5 is enuff to keep SPS juz that u need 8 or more tubes.
