can anyone recommend me some common hardy invertebrate for starter for my 37cm cube tank?

preferable cheaper breed

ideally 3-4 shrimps, 2-3 snails, a crab and a starfish, did i miss out any nice inverts?

will be adding them batches by batches but which one should i first?

i will add a common clown too, but last

is the bioload too much for my tank?

thanks

Bro, if you are not keeping any corals....for inverts....you dont have to careful in choosing yr inverts from LFSs. Shrimp wise....fire & cleaner are recommended. There are many other types....some very small and seems very "fragile"...dancing or sexy shrimp, ghost shrimp...etc.... Do some search and read ups....it will help. Crab, starfish, snail wise....me no experience hence cant advice but as mentioned earlier...if you intend to get coral...better confirm their are reef-safe. U may consider hermit crab over crab....though some crabs are nice and cute....

Suggest u keep a pair of clown rather than only one....

Seldom see ppl commenting inverts adding bio-loads...hence should not be a major concern for yr tank....unless u tell me that you are filling almost 30% of the tank space for inverts.....some inverts are good as in algae and "cleaner" for uneaten food or waste....

Hope u can control yr fish count and coral...hehe....very often...we told ourselves is enough but in the end....we test the limit....Good Luck in your buy and search.

Percnon gibbesi, Sally lightfoot crab. Through a scientific study made on the wild populations in 2006 by Puccio et al., the species is now considered a strict herbivore. As such this crab would keep your algae under control. Always see plenty of these crabs at Pasir Ris farm, Ah Beng's place.

Always something more important than fish.

I am thinking of setting up an Invert only tank too! I am always looking at the Hermit and Shrimp rather than the fishes. Used to have 2 zebra hermit, damn cute fellows! got them as hitch hiker smalled than 5cents size, they grow 20size... But died when I moved, temp storage at my brother place all the life stock all died!

Got a 5plan 1ft tank, thinking for setting a Nano tank. Got a Prizm skimmer, a small internal filter and DIY Blue LEDs light

Likely occupants: few Hermits, Sexy and Cleaner shrimps

maybe some butttons, mushroom

Have you setup yours? Any pics?
