HELP NEEDED:My Jewel coral does not open pls help

I have place and positioned my jewel coral on the sand bed of my 2ft tank.

flow is wavemaker is on the top of the tank

but it does not seems to pen up.

pls advice me how to make my jewel open up like a ball

any advice is appreciated

how long did u have the jewel? i kept 1 jewel b4 under gentle current. the area the arms can cover is like 15cm by 15cm. take up too much space in my tank n sold off.....

JUst have it less than a month

but still cannot fully oen up

hi.. wat's ur lights? water parameters? and amount of current? is there any clownfish hosting on it or disturbing it?

How big is it when it's not open? Mine also in 2ft tank. With wavemaker or without also can open up big big. Closed its about smaller than half a tennis ball. Can open up at least 15cm normally. Was it open in the LFS when you bought it? What lighting are you using? Check your water parameters. I find that when my water parameters are slightly out, it will close for a couple days till after a water change or when water stabilizes.
