How far from your MH is the hammer? Maybe the light is too strong.

Your Alk is on high side, should aim for 8.2-8.3. You just bought the hammer or its already in your tank for quite some time?

hi bro the hammer is at the bottom of the tank. and i have it for more than 3 moth liao.

250W MH is too strong for most LPS......if possible n u not keeping sps, going for 150W or T5 enuff liao

hi bro thanks for the advised. i do kept SPS. thats why i am using 250W. if thats the case i may have to sell it away. cause i am thinking of upgrading 250 to 400W :nuke: as i just got a table arco and a superman moti.

lighting is ok. It is how you acclimate it.

Refer to this link: http://www.uvi.edu/coral.reefer/bleach.htm

Corals bleached is not only caused by strong lightings alone.

Dose zooplankton / phyplankton shd be fine. And place them in low / moderate currents.

Most Hammers are found in shallow waters in their natural habitat. You can imagine the sunlight hitting on them and the amt of UV they are exposed to, in their natural environment.
