Black tangs won't come so cheaply. It never will. Most likely it's a scopas tang. $25 can't even cover the cost for capturing the fish considering it's rare.

sigh... i knw i've 2 tough fish in my tank. surprisingly, both the MI n blackie has got no probs wif each other. in fact the blackie has been swimming along wif MI.

unfortunately, i do not hv a q tank. besides, i dun really wanna stress it further by trying to remove it n quarantine it.

all i can do now is try feeding them properly n watch for any strange sign.

I am trying food source that I dip in garlic juice for my tangs every now and then(nori, mysis) , can try that...

there is also a kind of pellets that has garlic in it..

is the archilles you saw at yishun 219? IF YES....that fellow has been there for near to a month.....can try your l uck, last heard 2 weeks ago, starting to peck at dry shrimps....got chance to make it

dun worry...I complain to Henry many times....fishes in his shop eats gourmet ...come back to my tank...look down on my food ....with time ...they will....generally...established tangs are pigs!!!
