Damn.......slime appearing on fish body........

Notice my newly bought mystery wrasse starts to hv slimy stuff appearing on its body and pectoral fins rotting away. What's happening to it? Is it some kind of disease and any cure for it? Appreciate your advice bros.

Sounds like velvet. Catch out the fish asap as this disease is very infectious and could easily kill in 1-2 days. Isolate it and perform copper treatment immediately (Seachem cupramine).

Thks for d info bro. I've shifted d fella to a hospital tank few hrs ago n notice d slimy stuff r actually gone now. Fish is breathing normally n i've not administrated any medication yet. Observing d fella now and hopefully those slimy stuff will not appear again, keeping my fingers n toes crossed

Fish is ok liao n started to eat already. Can't figured out what actually happened to him yesterday, thought i was going to lose another expensive fish again, so happy now
