HELP !!!! :eyeblur:

i bought this totmato clown... and first 1 week it was so peaceful and serene....

its now a terror in my tank..... its now VERY fiercely defending a rock cave it calls its home...

it chases after anything smaller than him that comes near

1 green chromis has a gaping wound already !!!

and the best part is.... yest when i i stick my hand in to shift a coral...it started biting my hand !!!!! multiple times man...ouch!!

any way to make this bugger less fierce?? anybody got experience..

although he's beocming a pest.. i kinda like the personality and uniqueness... imagine i shoo it away with my big hand and it still continues biting... GUTS !!!

any body tame such characters before??

Bro, doubt it will be easy to tame yr tomato clown. It is unlike dog and even for dog, u have to tame them at their infant time. Once they got their character....not easy.

Had observed tomato clown and find that they seem to be as aggressive as maroon clown.

IMO, maybe rescape yr rocks to re-establish or reset the "master fish" mode and get one bigger and more aggressive clown but be prepared to see some fighting or death. Maybe wait for other better advice. : )

I had this tomato clown in a 2ft tank with at first 2 common clown. The 2 common clown got attacked by this tomato, so I fed up and then bought 2 more common clown so now have 4 common clowns and so over power the tomato clown - but even as they go near they will get chase but not attack when only got 2.

woke up this morning to find 1 x blue/green chormis dead.... and 1 x blue damsel dead also...

clown was already in the business of chasing smaller fish around...

i think will rescape the rocks a little.. the weird thing is.. the damsels and chromis seem attracted to that area.. like they enjoy being chased....

if doesnt work no choice have to return tomato lown to lfs....pity though..

Damsel tends to swim around. Maybe u can add more "cave" for the fishes to find their own home, once this is established, they tend to rest more in their nest. Hope this help. Regards.
