Is there anyone keep artificial anemones and clownfish in your aquarium ?

Will clownfish sleep and play with artificial anemone same as the real anemone ?

I am thinking to buy it for my clownfish, Any comments/suggestions ?

Bro CHAI111, I dun think the clownfish would like. Cos in nature, real anemones have slime or toxic that protect the clownfish which the fake ones dun have.

Interesting .... While many reefers keep them, many of us can't mantain them and it eventually shrinks and dies off .... Clowns can live without them, but if the artificial ones may be real enuf "smoke" them into hosting it, its worth giving a try and we can let real ones live naturally in the sea instead.

Breeders of clownfish have been using flower pots and tiles. The clownfishes host these and lay their eggs on them. You don't need a real anemone to keep them happy.
