DI water & saltwater SG

I got DI water from my crystal pro unit and tested 0ppm.

After I prepared salt water using D-D H2Ocean saltmix, the measurement gave me 10ppm.

Is it ok with the above or something wrong with the saltmix?

Antoher question is regarding the SG.

On D-D reference, it states for temp. of 25 deg, the SG should be 1.0250.

My SG is now 1.020 with a temp. of around 29 deg in the tub.

Is the above SG normal @ 29 deg? As I don't use a chiller, my tank temp hovers around 28 ~ 29 deg.

Thx

with salt inside, u will get reading from tds meter. it's normal....juz test it from the crystal pro will do. after mix salt no need to test liao.

as for the sg part, if i m not wrong, it's not stating that at 25 degree, the sg is 1.025. it state that at 25degree, sg at 1.025, the perimeters r as follow.....dKH 9+ ca 400+ mg 1300+ something like dat.....

Thanks for the tds part!

But for the SG, it was clearly stated in the reference note inside the saltmix bucket.

Following are the list of SG with its corresponding temp. As there was no mention of temp. beyond 26 deg, I am unsure if @ 29 deg, the right SG is 1.020 as measured by me.
