OMG! Look at these hybrids and rare fishes!

Isn't this earlei wrasse? fishbase lists it as Conniella apterygia. maybe it was renamed.

Earlei has no rhomboid tail even for the alpha male, so most likely another wrasse species.

Paracheilinus hemitaeniatus!

only known from comoros island and madagascar.

This is one super nice flasher tat no one has ever kept before.... If they can catch this, together w the latifasciatus clown can form madagascar biotope.

this fish is called the mutant wrasse.

omg i just realised why!! look at the pelvic fins!! there's NO PELVIC FINS!!

Liveaquaria just released a pair of Nachyaki's fairy from fiji in DD!

was too late so see the item for sale. so this is just the representative picture in the dd cover page.

Anyway Digiman, congrats on your Belonoperca chabanaudi. First time in my life seeing this fish in real life and when i saw it in the tub instantly remembered this thread.

The more i look at it, the nicer it is. It's actually a VERY beautiful fish!! but too big and scary for me :)

is the pseudojuloides elongatus very rare? it's found in japan and aussy area only right? :(

must settle for pseudojuloides mesostigma then...

I dun think anyone kept them b4. So i guess rare ba. Pics are all fish in the wild, so dun be fooled, in captivity may be v ugly!
