LL has your masked angel morphed into a male?

not yet but it's starting.

the largest one is no longer yellow, it's grey now.

tail also starting to develop spots.

but overall still very female looking. not veryyy obvious yet.

K keeps us posted of pictures when it's fully morphed or in morphing stage.

don't worry i will.

but the morphing time really ranges from fish to fish and tank environment.

can take pretty quickly or pretty slowly.

i guess i'm on the slow side.

Tis butterfly look cool to me... 

Chaetodon aureofasciatus 

V difficult butterfly to keep alive.

Quite a common fish from aussie shipment. Look out esp for aussie Sealife shipment, they brought in aureofasciatus butterfly a few times.

juveniles striatus tangs are very nice but seldom seen.

But they grow big and v ugly.

AHHHH!!

alliance aquarium just had a redsea shipment.

LOOK at that meiacanthus! and the pauci butterfly!

as well as the aberrant damsel.

Tat damsel is not an aberrant.

It is the v rare Dascyllus marginatus which is available only thru redsea shipments.

Any chance around the Asian region will see red sea shipments at lfs?

Red sea shipment is v common around the world. We get redsea shipment a few times a year and almost every LFS will carry redsea fishes when it is in season.

But if u r expecting to see some of the rare fishes featured above by lemon, then forget it as our redsea shipment only carry the cheaper and more common species.

Never expect to see this damsel in redsea shipment.. It is very beautiful but it is a dascyllus afterall.. Might be aggressive..
