i don't suggest keeping them even in nano tanks. they are almost impossible to locate.

thanks bro eniram for sending me a video of Chaetodon paucifasciatus being sold in Taiwan.

received a video showing 7 amazingly small (2 inch) specimens of paucifasciatus being sold in taiwan. i asked him to pack 2 back for me and hopefully can be done. i took a rather blur still photo from the video.

as you can see some of them still have the black ocellatus at the soft dorsal fin, indicating juveniles.

i have a pair from dejong marine that did not make it after a few months

really devastated and heartbroken when they died for no reason. these fishes are almost unobtainable now, and only appear in super small numbers in very little shops around the world. now they retail for sky high prices too.

digiman both times ordered it but they too slow to ship it over.

there's a similar variant in grand cayman where the grammas are 90% yellow and only 10% purple at the head.

so far i've not seen them for sale anywhere..
