Couldn't agree more.

Both can be obtained via Aussie shipments.

But Lennardi is only available from west australia. West Australia fishes are very very difficult almost impossible to obtain, because there's no shipments from there. They don't want to collect fish.

Femininus can be obtained from east Australia, tonga, Fiji, Vanuatu etc. They have a wide Range but very difficult to catch and keep alive. Only saw it once from LCK but a reefer bought it but unfortunately died.

and this guy asking before to ID this wrasse which got stuck in his sump, which he got as a halichores ... same ?

Wow I dunno wat this! It could be a Lennardi but the anal fins look different. Photo also not very clear.

The blue lined pattern also looks abut diff.

But the colourful is same.

So without clearer images I dun dare to confirm the ID

If he got it at a halichoeres price then he is lying or it's not a Lennardi. Coz There is only a few Lennardi in the market and it won't be anyhow sold

that's why i was wondering. aussie reefer, this was few years back. and got wrasse grand master hiroyuki tanaka to comment on the pic :

Dear Tim,

Thanks for the pic.

It seems an intermidiate pattern, nearly male, of Anampses lennardi, but it is interesting in having closer lines on side. Females have yellow dorsal and dark ###### fins.

Could you ask the customer to photograph more of its full length of body? And keep me informed, please.

All The Best, Hiroyuki

Wa all these look super rare and so beautiful. Like the chrysiptera oxyce and apogon nitida a lot!

Are they all from Japan waters?

apogon nitidus looks like a very rare and pretty version of blue eye cardinal.

surprised it's not in the same genus (Zoramia)

Do u see wat i see in the pic below?

Such small size (1.5 inches only) and a pair is one of the rarest thing u can obtain in a Hawaii shipment!

omg v v rare to get bandits this size and two summore!

obtainaning both will be a stunning duo!

My new year resolution!

no one will know its a conspic x meredithi hybrid.

not many ppl know wat a meredithi angel is and the hybrid looks too conspic like with not much other details. so ppl will just say it's a pure conspic that looks a bit funny.

point of the story, it's a v v ugly and unpopular hybrid that even i show no interest and dun know much about. but it's certainly v v rare and any angel or rare fish collector worth their salt will consider getting it.

Isn't the pic of chagosensis a bicinctus clown? I remember Marinecenter website use the pic for a bicinctus.

Amphiprion-bicinctus_s.jpg

i can never differentiate the clowns.

i can diff all the wrasses all the angels all the butterflies but not clowns!

tomorrow i will sit down and learn!
