OMG! Look at these hybrids and rare fishes!

Cyanide fishing is curel! Why don't they use natural chemicals to stun the fishes? i have a SAS survival book that teaches how to use this particular type of plant roots to stun fishes. The roots are crushed and it releases a milky toxin that stuns the fishes temporarily.

Just imagine the amount the fishes that will be saved.

Cyanide is cheaper and readily available.

what plant is that?

the roots of the cassava (tapioca) plant produces a milkly toxin that possess cyanide too. just that in low dosages.

both variants of venustus angel came at iwarna today.

the foreground is the normal one, the back is the blue one. the one at iwarna has more blue and the entire face is almost blue. like the one in digiman's avatar.

terry, we must never make this mistake again!

Pseudanthias leucozonus, shown in the first two photos. Leuco meaning white in latin, so there is a thin white bar running the middle of the body. also the head has some details that pass through the eye.

Pseudanthias rubrizonatus. Shown in the 2nd two photos. Rubri meaning red in latin, so there is a red bar running through the middle of the body.

But i have to admit. The one you passed me is a big beautiful alpha male P. rubrizonatus. But it's still a common fish that i have no interest in so i will be putting it at iwarna tomorrow.
