suttonia lineata.

terry, this should interest you. i like it as well. more ornate than suttonia suttoni. from hawaii.

junkai bring in tis fish before. i tink i stil hav 2 pc over at junkai fish room...

junkai's one is Suttonia suttoni. different from S. lineata from hawaii.

Left one, one is in my IQ5 already..

yours is S. suttoni wat!!

Recently came in some really gd sized hybrids @2.5" . The one left at lck is desirable size, but too much burgessi blood.

yes for some reason, juvenile sized hybrid tinkers are not too rare. most of the time they come in at nice 2.5 inch.

it's the pure blooded tinker, declivies and burgess that seldom come in below 3 inches. i have seen small ones before but they aren't common, especially tinker's. the supplier love sending 5 inch tinker butterflies.

mitratus is the only one that is easily obtained as a juvenile.

you recently bought a Serranus sp. from CF right?

it is from Ghana, africa, and it will color up into a beautiful fish.

here's what it should look like.

5" is like dinner plate , what am I supposed to do with 5" fish ;)

Ya I chosen the biggest of the 4 pc. Now I look at it , it's still so small.

I think it's closer to the 2nd pic color.

I hv a soft spot for serranus, esp chionaria.. But disappeared as quickly as it surfaced.

So this one is a close resemblance.
