U meant olivaceus dottyback. Is it v rare? Where is olivaceus dottyback found? Not much info on the net.

olive dottyback is not beautiful. infact it's quite ugly but ok la it's rather unique.

it's rare in the trade because its a red sea endemic and since there's no red sea shipments, there's no olive dottybacks.

however nowadays red sea shipment getting more popular again so we're seeing them as well. liveaquaria was suppose to post another male up on diver's den but somehow it didn't show up.

Just got this fish from CF. Thanks to LCF for helping me to reserve the fish.

From pic on the net it looks like Callogobius Clitellus. CF aunty said it is from the philippines.

it's not the amikami goby but it's very beautiful nonetheless!

callogobius is a huge genus with tons of brown and similar looking fishes. ID-ing it is very tough!

update on the chrysostictus. this is a new video. there was an older video uploaded that was posted here before.

from the same person who videos the lanceolatus pair as well as the Symphysanodon typus.

from the video you can see the blue and yellow soapfish. there's another video showing just that alone in the youtube channel.

It could be a different piece? They seem to have caught a new batch of deepwater fishes, including tat amazing aragai basslet!

Blackburn butterfly arrived in HK LFS from their East Africa Shipment
