just to share about LR....

i soak my LR in fresh water for 3 days before placing it inside my tank.

i notice a lot of worms died (left below the basin) and now after 2 wks plus..... i notice some kind of grass or plants is already growing.

my friend (marine hobbyist also) inform me that my tank environment is ok already (ready for LS).

my 4 healthy clown fish is 3 wks already in the tank. i didn't put any chemicals or sol'n which i previously bought.

A bit confuse as to when you started the setup, your LR is 2 weeks old and your fishes are in the tank for 3 weeks :shock:

Can you provide your tank water parameters and also the size of your tank.

About the "grass"/plants, do they look like hair algae something like that?

i have read some articles about LR.....

anyway, i just try and do some experiment, because at that time i still don't have any LS (so, no fish-life casualty yet!)

then , i notice, until now, my fish tank doesn't have any foul smell and small green plants are growing! (they are like small grass!)

B):rolleyes::idea::D
