blue face and Majestic

Recommended Posts

  • 2 weeks later...
Hi Bro,

I currently have a blueface in my 4 feet tanks and hope to add in Majestic angel. Wonder if advisable to add in or not? Can anyone give me some advice?

tq

I previously have both of them in my tank too. But due to a outbreak my majestic and other angels did not make it.

My advise it to get the majestic bigger than your blueface. Else your blueface will wreck the majestic. I encountered that when I introduced my majestic into the tank. Both were equal in size. Then I trapped my blueface and re-introduced it after a week in my sump and they lived happily for a short period till the outbreak.

Hope that will help you.

sorry to interuppt the thread, i am converting to fowlr, and is having the intention of blueface, emperor, majestic and regal. How should i introduce the fishes to minimise aggression?

put them in together at the same time

I fully agreed with the ideal. Unless you are planning to do step by step. Then regal should be the first. Blueface should be last. Size is also another factor. recommended to go from small to big.

Recommended that regal to be the first because it is not an easy keeping fish unless you get it from reefer. Then probably get the 3 angels at one go and but it together.

What is your tank size?

Its a 3 footer, but i am planning for a 4x2x2

I'm planning either blueface or emperor to go in last, but i do heard that emperor are sometime quite nasty.

To keep your ideal angels, preferable to have a 4 x 2 x 2. My advise would be emperor to go into your new tank first. Cos it is one of the ich magnet among the angels. I had tried a few without success till I bought it from a reefer.
