According to the current electricity rates, 1kw cost $0.156.

per day electricity usage = 150 x 7 = 1050w = 1.05kw

per day electricity bill = 1.05 x 0.156 = $0.1638

per month bill = 0.1638 x 30 = $4.914

taking into account the irregular voltage of magnetic ballast, the monthly bill will average to be $5-$6.
