Not reccomended for keeping in home aquariums... leave them to the nature... most feed on sponges and soft coral... highly toxic if dead...

Can I just keep them in 1 tank alone and feed with lettuce? Heard from LFS it is very easy to maintained.

nudibranchs or sea slugs.

the more colourful it is, the more deadly it is when dead.

you'll find out why when you see fishes floating in the water one day when the nudibranch dies off.

So if i keep in a species tank, wat is the requirement? Need algae to survive? Wat about the water temp? I just bought 2 pcs today and intend to keep in a species only tank. Pls advise wat is the best way to keep these things. Thanks.

it is not a tang so it does not feed on lettuce. it feeds on sponges.. btw, which fishshop so nice tell u easy to maintain? beautiful creature but die very fast in captivity..

Princess used to have 2 that she feed regularly with sponges and they became very fat but now no update le..

better dun buy seaslug /nudibranch

So far I have kept 8 and the longest living is 1 month.

Now I have none in my tank. I love nudibranches especially when I am diving. I have decided to live it in the wild.

The LFS is called Lim Pet House or something like tat. It is at serangoon there where Petmart is located. It is manned by a old man and he claimed tat he had sold many and so far no problem with it.

Your best bet if you ever want to try is to avoid those with gill-like projections on the anterior portion of their bodies. Also avoid those with numerous serrata. These species normally store nematocysts..meaning that they feed on cnidarians.

I have one white one..have'nt seen it for quite awhile..but it should be still around..I'm feeding it using soft coral.

Got one more...base body color is black..with green spots. Had it for 4 months +/- already...dunno how is it surviving.

If your tank got alot of algae..go for lettuce nudibranchs..Those are alright to keep..although 2 of mine only lasted about 2 weeks or so..they have a fetish for filter intakes....coupled with their fragile bodies...you can guess what happened.

Yea..sometimes nudibranchs like to explore the rockwork.

Lucky both my non-reef safe ones are filter intake proof.

They are tropical species. Tropical temperature. No need chiller lah.
