how do i catch or trap a fish from a reef tank?

any equpiments or methods that can be used or buy?

use a betta box. start feeding ur fishes by putting food inside the box

after awhile, they will get used to it n enter without fear. need to be patient when using this method

i ever try catching a fish for a week. is hard if u do not want to tear down ur scaping...hehe

but u can try to catch them at night when all lights r off, spot them hiding spot, by using a touch and shin on them intermittantly.

they get burred easily and swim out . then u will find them knocking on ur glass ..blind them ..

just my 2 cents..haha

I second Bro Vtec's idea. ave tried this method before and works for me. Best record is 5 Tangs went in for the food during feeding time. But u must acustom ur fish to get used to the beta box. always throw ur food in the box with the shutter "Open"
