hey pic to huge.. resize it now or else AT will come after you :lol::lol:

Okok heres my comment.... those starfish at the back of the tank, they are not reef safe... May attack other invertebrate such as mussel or clams. And also how big is your tank, notice you have a school of golden trevally, btw these fish grow into huge monster :blink: .... And also notice that you have feather star in your tank, hey this critters have very poor survival record and suggest no one should keep them.. they are better leave to monther nature...... ;);) And notice that your lps aren't blooming very well, saw some dead part, most liely it is due to your tunze maker.. BTW what your water parameter like and what lighting you using....... And lastly notice you have a purple nudibranch, gheez you seem to like have everyhting in your tank, do you knwo their live span is short and hard to feed IMO one should not keep them and same as the feather star you should leave them to mother nature......

Gheez thats all lastly love your school of chromis......

BTW i am not insulting or picking on you or something like that just that you have some many live stock that are imcompatible with each other and I love these creature and hope that they are in good hand since we are already taking a slice of the ocean therefore we have to be responsible to give the best of what we can to the creature of the sea ;););)

ahhh just to answer a few qs

the nudis, i have 3 of them in total & they have been in for at least 1 month. One of them has been there for 2-3 months already & still up & running hence quess i'm safe there:) i've read of the poison dead nudis can give out.

Had the feather star above for about a month as well, does ok since it is still alive:) the one at the bottom a recent purchase.

The dead parts of some corals were unfortunately there when i bought it ( if you are referring to the octopus at the right) Kinda cheaper that way...heehee maybe i should just chop off the dead parts of something. Seems to be doing well though all open:)

The starfishes are for my harlequinns....have 3 hungrey ones roaming about the tank hope the sf would behave until my hals get to them:)

IMo anything that is less than 8 months in the tank although surviving, they should not be consider doing well..... IMo 1 month or 2 months is way to less to say whther the animal is doing ok or not..... Anyway once your trevally grow big you can say bye bye to the harlequin shrimp. BTW do you knwo that goniopora which you have in your tank has very poor survival record and usually die in 2-3months..........

a little concern about the corals...when it is blooming...it should look a bit like this..... notice the branck hammers..they are well-extended.

maybe you took the pics while they were still alseep? ;)

I am just concern abt the tunze, I keep a mixed reef, thinking of fixing a tunze too, but dun know it will be too strong for the LPS.... :o

can provide more info on its effect?

I have seen my fren using tunze 6060 for his tank and the coral are blooming rather well........

the tunze is quite good as it varies the current in a cyclical fashion which means that with a countercurrent like what i set up you will either get a full current or no current making it more natural.

My hammers open up very nicely with the tunze have 2 pics up for you

yah was wondering why all your button not opening

For button, maybe the lights is not enough?

Didn't read abt button required strong lights, but my own button only open up when directly under the MH150W, when they are at the side of the tank, they closed. My is 3x1.5x1.5 tank
