After putting in a ground probe I still experience mild shocks when putting my hand into the water, does anyone with ground probes experience that too?

try turning off all the powerheads... I think they are the culprit... then "test" the water again, turining on one PH at a time till u find the culprit... then get rid of it... (my FW tank leaked from the lights though)

IMO, ground probe is still not the safe way out....

Lastly (and this might sound silly) check if you have any small cuts on your hands... sometimes when I have a cut and I stick my hand into the water, it stings like mad... might mistake it for electrical shock...

After inserting the ground probe into ur tank & u can still feel the shock means that the leaking is very bad . Better to locate

the source of leak & change it..

last time i had this problem. but using hand to check if still got stray voltage is a bit painful experience. i bought a tester, the cheapest one i could find, i only need to see if got voltage lah. so i did the same thing, unplug all then plug one by one, turned out my return pump was the culprit, cleaned it up and now works well.

if you don;t have tester i can let you borrow mine, i stay in Simei and work at Bras basah.

please switch off all the power before putting ur hand inside the water...that the best don have a burn smell inside ur body

what did u do..? I suggest u get a rubbery gloves when u handle stuffs.

I just got "good" shock when I accidentally go touch my fan.

the half of my body was shaken up by it. hehe..

yesterday whole day, I think my right side of the heart was pretty fried, n experience mild pain..

ya agree with seahorse... if with the ground probe, u still feel shocks, means u've got a bad leak.. might need more probes OR a thicker probe i guess better to get rid of the source and not live with it...

do you guys test for AC current? cuz I wonder if induced voltage is "normal" and what shocks us is leaking current and not the voltage? cuz I checked and ALL my equipment do produce AC voltage, but my multimeter can't check AC current.
