Need Urgent! getting shrimps later

hi bros.

i currently have a 2ft tank.. intending to get peppermint shrimp to help control my algae and etc.

i'm meeting a bro here.. i think its "fuel"

how many pieces shld i get? i'm thinking just 1.. would that be fine?? would it be happier if i get 2?

U sure peppermint shrimp eats algae? u may want to check with Bro Fuel first if its algae you want to get rid of. Prob turbo snails wld be better.

oh i see. Aptisa (dunno how to spell to). Yup, peppermint shrimp does help.

U can also try dunno what joe juice or something.

For me, i just hack out the portion of the liverock where it hides as i had two only...

Bro, it depends how deep is your pocket....hehe...

U can buy one and if the selected one dont do the job or report heaven.....then you have to buy somemore....hehehe...

I bought at least 6 to 7 and now left 2 commando pepper...wahaha....anyway, i keep fire, camel and cleaner...they can be predator.....moreover i got fishes and hermit crab .... all waiting when they change their shell.....sighz....that is life....

From my limited experience and understand, they do eat aptisia but whether they really do the job depend on your luck. Some ppl bought and they just feed on those food given to the fishes, etc. One more thing, they are rather shy and timid, hence, they will be hiding most of the time and come out at night when the light is switched off. If you got dangerous fishes....better watch out for them....likely to have problem seeing them if you tank is big....my friend threw in pepper shrimps but till today...he cant find a single one...wahahahaha....All the best.

my method is take a syringe, fill it up with vinegar attack the pesky bugger, and see it turn white, no bad effects to my tank water, of course small amounts , stupid bugger made me rescape my tank because of it

good size..

acclimatize for 1 hr + den drop it in.. quite good looking. color returning back quite fast..

will try the natural method first..
