Hello! Hello! Hello! Have you guys read my RSM thread? If not the link is just below...

First time on Arctica... Or rather 1st time on chiller...

1ft cube with IOS [the low tech tank]

1. JBJ C-breeze to keep temp hovering around 27-28'C

2. LED clip on - 120 bulbs

-skimmer-less-

My 3 humble equipments that keeps my tank running... [DRIED OUT]

1. The RSM itself of course 2.My NEW Deltec MCE-300 Skimmer 3. My trusty Arctica Chiller

Tank parameters:

Temperature maintained at 25.3'C to 24.7'C

No3: 10ppm(b4 the use of the deltec skimmer)

No3: 5ppm (after use of the skimmer)

Others? too lazy to measure...LOL

It really cools and it kicks in once temperature reaches +/- 0.3'C from set point... And built-in thermostat with an alarm that light up when temperature reaches 1'C below set point:eyebrow:...

I got mine from AM. Was considering between Resun CL280 and this but finally went for it even though the price is doubled. Best part of this is that it comes with warranty (plus 2x on-site maintenance) and have local authorised service support. Pretty cool.

Yar lor at first I considered Hailea but after all I'm glad I got this piece...

I really agree with this, its kick in without any sound, as if it was not even on... a good long lasting chiller...recommended to all. :pirate:

Service good!!! The other day before going to sch it suddenly broke down... Call them at 9 am they came and repair it... :eyebrow:

Any difference between hailea and artica?

What I can think of is the reliability, efficiency, small in size, quality, low noise level and better outlook design compare to china brand chiller....but price double or more :whistle .

Worth having it for long term investment.. :thumbsup: !

wow my old thread got dug out :blush: :blush: :blush: well, i think most Arctica chillers are serviced by pretty much the same agent, mine was AquaNautica.. very nice guy (same guy) who always came down if need be (service you cant get from other brands i assume).. Now my uber pico doesnt have a chiller running with it but i have the C-breeze fan which helps hover the temperature at around 27 - 28'C these days with the unforgiving weather -_- still jbj products are IMO a "would recommend" :thumbsup:

big price difference. performance, noise also difference. of course artica better.
