Don't worry. It should not be a problem as in nature if a clown fish has no anemone and they have an elegance coral nearby. They will use it as a host...

Mine has beenplaying around with it since I got it and still open big big .. Just make sure you have sufficient lighting as elegance coral needs lots of light and minimal flow.

HA The reason whyI bought mine was that i'm afraid to use my seio as it has the risk of detaching itself from the tank. Cannot afford a sandstorm in my tank a it's so crammed already. And the way the K2 works is that the wave produced goes in a spiral motion as compared to a direct flow from the seio820.
