HElp!!!!! i think my true percular clown have white spot! its not swimming very well,and its not going to the anemone it use to host...why? can i save it? plz help! i dont want this small fish to die!

but any sick fish should be taken out from main tank FW bath heard b4 but never try cos i think it will stress the fish even more

used to try diluted seachem paraguard dip .. it works too, but after i switch to garlic .. it is still in my fridge after 2 srindge use ..

alternatively low salinity dip oso can .. (not freshwater)

i did the fresh water dip to 3 of my fishes in the past,and they all died!

i'll try my best than,still waitin for better advise!!

Nah, i believe it will not wrok, garlic soak food are only for fish infected with mild ich.... fish that are severely infected most liekly will stop eating so garlic is useless, even if it start eating, i believe that the garlic is not stong enough and IMO the best thing to do is put it into a quarantine tank and you can either do hyposalinity or copper based treatment.

i think all those methods are to relieve the fish slightly, the main part still depends on the fish itself to fight the ich..i read an article somewhere about inborn immunity and acquired immunity towards ich...

some fishes like mandarin fish have an inborn immunity against the ich....others especially tangs are very easily affected by the ich and its through a few cycles of ich that they survive through and have an acquired immunity later on...for those tangs that survive...

so, keep your fishes at the peak of their health, so that anytime ich strikes...the fish can fight it on its own and grow stronger from it...lol...

the strongest survive...the weakest will succumb..

My pair of percular is also down with ich (imported from blue tang!!). They are in my hospital tank now and been treated with seachem Cupramine. Pray that they recover....
