Flame scallop or Electric scallop?

I juz bought a Flame Scallop from SL today and i noticed that it has flickering lights along its opening. look abit like got electricity. very nice but anyone know why liddat?

this is not the only wonder of scallops, wait till u get to see it sticking out it's very long "tongue". but u don't get to see that often. i had mine for abt 3 mths n i only see it once.

are these scallops easy to keep. saw some at a LFS a few days ago but not sure if it's easy. going for $10.00

yah i saw its tongue the minute it opened. it shot out and touched the wall and went back in. actually these fellas are quite difficult because it needs a constant feeding of microscopic organic food. i feed mine with marine snow and DTs.

Nope they are very vulnerable creature as much fish will take them as yum yum And also these scallo need to be traget fed very often
