Any Ill Effects for Fast Flow Rate for Fish?

Recommended Posts

Just a curious question... I'm using 2 x Tunze 6060, with a 4000L/hr return pump, so naturally tank has a pretty high internal flow rate... my 2 small clowns (which I just put in) seem to be struggling in the water... they kept getting swept very close to the overflow opening. Was wondering whether there's any ill effects on fishes if there's a strong current flow in the tank?

High is really dependent on your tank size here.. If its on a 4ft, I doubt its high.. infact its pretty low.

Fast flow would be good but whether they still have any space or corner to rest when tired or sleeping.

Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?

"Its easier to blame the 'mantis' or crabs in the tank for missing & dead livestocks.."
