Some Good Tips For Being Good Reefers. Earth Friendly

1.Try not to throw away LR,Live sand OR livestock ,its best to sell or give them away,This reduces the number of people

Buying LR LS from shops. I mean We cant ELIMINATE but Reducing is far much better.

2. Read Up Before Buying any specimen (Most Important)

3. You must Be a real earth Lover to do this, " Send the fish back to where it came from"

4.Only go into to Hobby If You really Have the time to avoid Commissioning and decommissioning which

wastes Many Marine Lives

5. Prepare to invest in Medications As far as POssible, The point is to reduce much death as possible

6. Donate Money To organisations such as WWF

7.Do More Photography In rare Species during Diving trips (meaningful ones)

I'm not sure if captured fish will be able to survive if released back. But I'm for conservation. How about breeding and propagating.

This is one of the most common cases in Singapore.They set up then they not happy tear down buy new tank and set up again.Jus be happy wif what u have.I have seen people preparing 3ft but simce they got enuf cash they tear it down again and get a 4ft or 5ft cos they use credit cards.

Plz jus set up once and dun change it again and again.I have read some books which have nice beautiful taks which were set up for more than 10yrs without changing the tanks and they have bred SPS corals in their tanks.Our boss here have set up a lovely tank without decommissioning.

U mus think over and over again if u have the time to take care of these fishes or not.If dun have much time jus go wif FOWLR or Corals only wif live rocks but dun take difficult corals or fishes(COWLR).Jus think more than thrice wether u can take care of the sea creatures or not.Be responsible.

But I think Its also True that Reefers Have to Go By deccomming STEP by step, This hobby requires learning stages

,We always want to start small. So i think there's not much of a choice,If its a upgrade im sure the fishes would be sold off

or shifted, But In cases Where You are so Busy And you still want to Keep would not be a good choice. We should Be firm About taking On reefing and Not Just Thinking " Aiya Can Do lah". We must make sure reefing comes By passion and love, Without this I don't think You can achieve good results.
